According to the SP of Bijapur district, the ISO certification was conferred to the said two police stations of Chhattisgarh on August 27, 2018. It was however given away to the police station officials on 7th September 2018 by Mr Mahesh Gagda, the Forest Minister of Chhattisgarh, who is also the MLA of Bijapur.

According to the Superintendent of Police of Bijapur-
- The Madded and Bhopalpatnam police stations have separate rooms for women complainants and victims.
- They are well equipped with a stockroom, a radio room and an upgraded cyber chamber, besides, a proper kitchen. Clean drinking water is always available.
- Apart from that, a well equipped open-air gym has also been maintained at these police stations.
- A lush green park has also been made for kids.

As quoted by the Superintendent of Police of Bijapur, all the formalities for ISO certification were concluded by July 2018, following which the ISO inspection squad was invited.
- A renowned Swiss accreditation body had sent their personnel for an external audit of the functioning at the 2 police stations.
- The ISO certification was finally conferred on August 27, 2018. The ISO certificates are valid until August 20, 2021.
