Know about Basic FSSAI Registration

As the highest regulatory and supervisory body in the country, the Food Standards and Safety Authority of India (FSSAI) is in charge of ensuring that food in India meets all necessary standards and is safe for consumption. Therefore, complying with the legislation necessitates obtaining FSSAI Basic Registration. For basic FSSAI Food safety registration, a company has to have an annual sales of less than Rs.12 lakhs. As activities expand and revenue surpasses Rs. 12 lakh, the basic registration must be upgraded to a state license. Thus, if you are selling packaged milk, and your annual turnover is less than rs. 12 lakhs, you will need to get Basic FSSAI Registration.
